Automatic Tape Log Cutter and Rewinder Spare Parts: Uses and Ordering Guide
The cutting performance of an automatic tape log cutter depends on machine settings and the condition of its circular blade, support tube, clamping sleeves and position sensors. When buying replacement parts, check the machine model, mounting dimensions and materials being processed rather than relying on appearance alone.
Based on the accessory overview, this guide introduces seven common accessory categories for automatic tape log cutters, together with the toolbox supplied for rewinders.
1. PE Support Tubes
PE support tubes fit over the cutting shaft and come into contact with the blade during cutting. They require regular inspection.
If the surface develops pronounced cut marks, roughness or wear, check whether replacement is needed. Confirm the inside diameter, outside diameter, length and corresponding shaft dimensions before ordering.
2. Circular Cutting Blades
Circular blades cut tape logs into rolls. The source overview lists masking tape, foam tape and floor tape among the applications. Actual suitability depends on the blade specification, machine configuration and material.
For selection, provide:
• Blade outside diameter, center hole and thickness.
• Mounting hole arrangement and fixing method.
• Tape material, log diameter and target cutting width.
• Photos of the original blade and a description of cutting problems.
Even blades with matching dimensions need their material and edge geometry checked.
3. Silicone Oil
The silicone oil shown in the overview is used for anti-stick lubrication during cutting, helping reduce adhesive buildup on the blade and associated contact surfaces.
Suitability, application points and quantity should be confirmed against the machine requirements and tape material. For products that will later be printed, coated or bonded, also check whether silicone contact is acceptable to avoid affecting subsequent processing.
4. Red Rubber Sleeves
Red sleeves work with black sleeves in the roll-holding mechanism to help keep material stable during processing.
Confirm the installation position, inside and outside diameters, length and associated assembly before replacement. If sleeves are worn, deformed or no longer grip properly, inspect the related components as well.
5. Black Rubber Sleeves
Black sleeves work together with red sleeves. Check the complete clamping assembly instead of ordering by color or appearance alone.
Provide photos of both sleeve types, their installation positions and their dimensions to help confirm compatibility.
6. Proximity Switches
Proximity switches detect the positions of relevant machine components and provide signals for log cutter motion control.
If position detection or machine movement is abnormal, check sensing distance, installation position, wiring and the control system before assuming the switch has failed.
For a replacement inquiry, provide the original model, supply voltage, output type, wire count, mounting dimensions and wiring photos.
7. Toolboxes for Log Cutters and Rewinders
The overview shows toolboxes supplied with both the automatic tape log cutter and the rewinder. They hold tools for installation, adjustment and maintenance.
The actual tool types and quantities should follow the equipment order and delivery list. Specify the required contents when ordering a separate toolbox or additional tools.
Information to Prepare Before Ordering
To reduce repeated clarification, please provide:
• Machine model and nameplate photo.
• Part name, close-up photos and installation position.
• Key dimensions or original part model.
• Required quantity.
• Material being processed and a description of the issue.
If you do not know the part name, start with clear photos so the specification can be checked.
