Applications and sourcing
For automotive trim, emblems and lightweight decorative accessories where adhesive attachment has been validated. Send trial-order quantities, special widths, slitting or die-cutting requirements. Availability, minimum order quantity and lead time must be confirmed individually.
Information needed for a quotation
1. Installation location, photographs and both bonding substrates.
2. Required width, thickness, length and quantity.
3. Indoor or outdoor exposure, temperature, water contact and loading conditions.
4. Roll, slit-roll or die-cut format and details of existing bonding failures.
Selection and installation
Remove old adhesive and contamination, then follow the specific tape instructions for preparation, pressure and dwell time. Refinished paint, plastics and protective films require separate validation; adhesion promoters are not suitable for every surface. Color and initial tack alone do not establish suitability. Tape must not replace required mechanical retention or be relied on alone for load-bearing or safety-critical components. Temperature ratings, certifications and brand equivalence require supporting documentation and application testing.
